Gentlemen,

 

I have attached a document that summarizes the recent proposal to include ASHRAE 90.1-2010 as another Code-Compliance path for the 2012 NC ECC. I wanted to give you a heads up on this, as you may want to share the information with people who may have asked you already what the status of the proposal is. Also, you may want to consider purchasing of the Standard if you do not already have it. Billy Hinton pointed out to me that COMcheck already has this option in it, so designers may be able to use that option very quickly.

 

The results of the Rules Review Commission review of this proposal will be announced on March 11^th at the BCC, so anyone in attendance would know the results. I will forward those results to you as soon as practical. Those results would not show up in minutes for until the BCC meeting minutes are published, which could be 30 days or longer after the March 11^th meeting.
